Job Description: The Software Tester at Apex Informatics will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests to ensure the quality and stability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, capable of ensuring our software products meet our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications to develop effective testing strategies.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Help troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
• Experience in software development and testing methodologies (including agile and waterfall).
• Familiarity with various testing techniques (such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, etc.)
• Experience with software testing tools and processes, including automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills.
